Visual effects have long been a key component of Hollywood blockbusters. But the impact of these effects has steadily increased over the past few years. Over time, movies have used advanced visual effects to bring their characters to life. The sequel to the 2009 film, Avatars 2, is one of the greatest examples of such films. The recently released film took everyone by surprise as it depicts the story of the Sully family on the beautiful planet of Pandora, with the help of visual effects.

The 2009 film was highly praised for its visual effects and even won the title for Best Visual Effects at the 82nd Academy Awards. And following his path, the continuation, Avatar: The Water Way, it also became the top contender at the next Academy Awards.
The Academy has revealed the contenders for Best Visual Effects
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed its picks for the 2023 Oscars in 10 categories. The VFX Branch Executive Committee shortlisted 10 films for the Best Visual Effects category, including films such as Avatar: The Water Way, The Batman, Black Panther 2, and No. While it has some of the biggest movies of 2022, Avatar 2 still leads the way in the best visual effects category.

The list includes All Quiet on the Western Front, The Batman, Black Panther 2, Doctor Stranger 2, Jurassic World Dominion, Dumbledore’s Secret, Nope, Thirteen Lives and Top Gun: Maverick and Avatar: The Way of Water
Avatar: The Way of Water sets a new standard for visual effects like James Cameron he went on to film a major portion of the film underwater. LOL, I haven’t even seen Avatar and I already know he’s going to win. But the Marvel movies that are here are fun. They have detailed CG, sure, but it always feels like CG.

I don’t care how much you hate Avatar 2, the CGI/VFX was absolute perfection, a truly groundbreaking feat of Weta FX’s technical wizardry. No film has come close to what we saw in that film.

People who haven’t even seen the movie claim so The water way he would be the one who wins the title. They also continued to claim that if Avatars 2 does not win this award, it would be the biggest “Oscar robbery in history.“
