Glue42 enables Internet-scale deployments with the Glue42 server

The latest product introduces robust and comprehensive features for managing Internet-scale desktop integration projects, further lowering the barrier to implementation and laying the foundation for “workflows everywhere.”

NEW YORK, December 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Glue42the company that offers integrated desktop experiences to financial institutions around the world, today announced the availability of its new product, Glue server42. With this latest innovation, DevOps can roll out new desktop integration projects across the enterprise and into the enterprise consumer base three times faster than before, and manage these rollouts more efficiently. Designed for on-premise or cloud deployment, Glue42 Server meets the needs of the smallest customers up to those deploying at Internet scale.

Additionally, Glue42 customers and independent software vendor partners can use Glue42 Server to accelerate the deployment of their internal or public marketplaces for consuming applications, layouts, and workspaces. The platform responds to client demand captured from Glue42’s large client base across global hedge funds, investment management firms, software providers, and top tier banks.

“Since the release of our commercial-grade, zero-install integration platform, Glue42 Core+, our customers have been deploying workspaces for tens of thousands of seats in their own company and those of their partners and customers. With web-based deployments becoming more commonly, organizations are now able to deliver fully integrated application experiences, hosted on the desktop or within the browser, to their customers and retail consumers. To do this at scale requires a mission-critical set of capabilities critical server side that our users can easily configure based on their specific needs,” he said James WosterCOO, Colla42.

“Rather than have our customers build these server functions, we identified a set of common business and technical requirements and translated them into a complete, supported, fault-tolerant product,” he continued. “Having something that works out of the box improves reliability and significantly reduces production time.”

Prior to the introduction of Glue42 Server, management of customer desktops was often undertaken in-house, which meant that deploying applications, system configuration updates, and sharing new layouts and workspaces was often a manual process .

With the new solution, enterprises are able to manage and share application definitions, application permissions, user preferences and user behavior data, as well as define user groups for routing application notifications and of the system.

In addition, DevOps can test, manage, support or update applications remotely in a secure way. System administrators can also directly manage access to end-user applications or connect to an existing authentication system. Finally, operations now have the tools to securely monitor running instances of desktop clients, capture log files, and manage applications remotely.

Glue42 Server supports connections to client workstations running both of its products: Glue42 Core+ (zero-install, web integration platform) and its flagship desktop integration platform Colla42 company.
