I’m not necessarily looking forward to Surveillance 2Activision Blizzard’s sequel and replacement to its 2016 team-based shooter.

PC gamer reported this week that the series’ lead hero designer, Geoff Goodman, who had helped shape the series since its incubation period six years ago, recently departed Blizzard. As recently as August, Activision employees accused the game company of breaking the union. In June, the company expressed hesitation in filing annual harassment reports despite years of employees speaking out against what they call an abusive workplace. None of this inspires enthusiasm.

But there they are new girl characters, and I guess it’s cool. The girls are great. And people online have been asking a lot of questions about it Surveillance 2 (understandable: it’s only two weeks away from its release), so I thought I’d delve into the recesses of the internet to find and answer some of its most frequently asked questions. I want us to find out Surveillance 2 things together, and maybe even find something to look forward to (or not).

When Surveillance 2 go out?

It’s easy: October 4, 2022. The game itself is free to play, but an in-game shop and often maligned battle pass will effectively pay for some new characters and seasonal items from the live service.

Because nobody talks about Blizzard to close Overwatch Before Surveillance 2 do you release?

Blizzard isn’t just boxing Overwatch Before 2the release of: is completely replacing Overwatch with Surveillance 2. I think I name the game something like this Overwatch 2.0 or Overwatch, again or Hey, I’m Overwatch, but there are other hot girls it would have helped clear up some of the confusion. Blizzard didn’t ask me to be in the naming meeting, strangely.

Last day to play for real Overwatch it’s October 2, two days earlier 2 you release. After that, Overwatch commercial leads Jon Spector said inside a statement a Europlayer that “that’s a 27 hour downtime that we’re planning to get the Surveillance 2 the server was up and running. Sometime in those 27 hours, new players will be able to download Surveillance 2 in early preparation for launch, and existing players will be notified to update their software Surveillance 2.

The base Surveillance 2 the game is free to play, but Blizzard will still generously give you the opportunity to hand over some money. You could buy the Watchpoint Pack, a $39.99 bundle, if you’re really hungry for it.

According to his description of Battle.netincludes the following: Season 1 of Surveillance 2The Premium Battle Pass, which gives you access to Healing Hero Kiriko and “over 80 Tiers of Rewards”, 7 Legendary Skins, 5 Epic Skins, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, and Overwatch Legendary Edition. The fine print means that only in-game items from Legendary will report to Surveillance 2though.

IS Surveillance 2 switching at 5 against 5?

Yes. Blizzard announced in 2021 which would have reduced the size of PvP squads from six to five. This is what God has decided for our fingers and toes as well, probably.

What is this unannounced main mode?

It’s pure speculation at this point. A a few months agoa Discord user presumably translated and information shared by a now deleted interview with French streamer Potxeca, Geoff Goodman and game director Aaron Keller. User Said There Was An “Unannounced Game Mode” Coming In 2023 And Enthusiastic Reddit Users Think It Could Be A Fortress Team 2-type 5CP.

Yes, money!

Other speculation, but it seems that seasonal Overwatch items will not transfer to Surveillance 2or you will no longer be able to buy them with credits.

Players received a “last chance” reminder from wolf to “spend your credits on seasonal collectibles!” at stake. The memo itself nebulously indicates that the credits themselves will be transferred to 2so, um…

But Blizzard wrote in a September 15 blog which was introducing another currency, Overwatch Coins, and a “seasonal model” with nine-week refresh periods, which would provide the game with things like heroes, maps, modes, and skins. It seems likely that whatever Blizzard is driving you to spend those old days Overwatch credits on will be unavailable for one reason or another starting October 4th.

I have seen many people complaining about all of this Overwatch the characters are less cute in Surveillance 2, but, for the most part, I honestly can’t tell the difference in character designs. At least, not in a way that feels meaningful or significant. I’m sorry. But take comfort in remembering that your journal will always have crisp white pages in which to master Widowmaker’s cheekbones, if that’s what it’s all about.

Because it’s Overwatch loved by critics but hated by the players?

It’s true? For the most part, I think critics and non-critics are getting close Surveillance 2 with healthy trepidation and mild intrigue, and I think many non-critics love playing the original Overwatch. In the end we’re just people with opinions, who happen to not be facts, as I learned in first grade. Nothing to worry about there.

They should Surveillance 2 to be considered for the game of the year?

Perhaps. As a critic, I love it Surveillance 2, but as a gamer, I hate it. So I’m not sure.

Blow out the fat pockets of Blizzard executives.

Server problems.
