For this price you get a lot to be honest. even tough A22 is old and weak but it dont have much features that need a lot of power. It’s totally a work phone for outdoors or construction workers. Who needs only to answer calls and make calls.
I dont know whats there so hard to understand the need of this type of devices in market and especially in 120 dollar range. It wont be for EU as for EU they need to have type-c or i dont remember on what date forward all devices need to be with type-c
Who buys it๐คฃ

For $139, you can’t really complain. It functions and the specs aren’t COMPLETELY horrible.
Then again, these are the GSMArena comments where 75% of the posters are simply out of touch with reality and practicality…

Unfortunately, the use of old chips in phones from the third echelon, and sometimes from the middle class, has been a trend for over a year. I guess it is due to stagnation or they cannot maintain a competitive price with a new processor…

Seriously that A series ancient SoC…
Anonymous, 4 hours agoFunnily, this is a “Pro” phone ๐๐คฃcant find whats so per inside this. just a basic low end rugged phones with ancient features. 4 year old chipset, micro usb. that’s it. android 12 on this would not run well even if new. i hope other phone companies will make a phone with this size. g70 or maybe snap 678 would be enough. and usb c.

What really made me laugh in this entire article is that the 3.5 mm headphone jack is a selling point big enough to put it in the spec highlights poster (at the end of the article) ๐๐คฃ

Mediatek and micro usb WTF
I would love to see this sized rugged phone but with at least regular midranger features + barometer & temperature sensor, camera with up to 4K video with 60fps. I’m a huge fan of outdoor rugged phones, currently using LG G8X, which is great, but for some situations is too big for my pocket. Previously I was using Samsung S8 Active, which was also great, but too also too big. One of my most beloved rugged phones from the past is Samsung Xcover 4 – great size, but it lacks the video camera performance I need for my work. I hope there will be more rugged phones like the Motorola Defy and Nokia XR20.
I was interested in this until I saw it comes with micro USB and an ancient processor. Compact dimension is welcome tho

CompactPhones5ever, 7 hours ago>device measures 150 x 78.9 x 14.4mm and weighs 227 grams FINALLY they are starting to make… morebad thing is they have mediocre chipset. i wonder why phone companies treat compact sized phones badly๐คฆ๐คฆ and ancient micro usb should be unacceptable in 2022. the helio a22 isnt even enough for daily usage nowadays. p60 or g70 should be enough

FINALLY they are starting to make the rugged phones somewhat reasonably sized. It’s still quite enormous to my taste, but unlike their Ulefone Power Armor 13, you don’t have to carry it it a separate bag, which is a progress.
