Each vehicle has a different range. And to use your electric car, you need to charge it. The time required for this process to take place will depend on the type of charger you are using. One of them is called AC charger (AC or AC). This is the most common.

However, they can be harmful to your car battery. This is what a study carried out by the Idaho National Laboratory. She used four units of the Nissan Leaf to take the test for one year.

Since two of them were porters with level 2 (twice a day) and the others used level 3 fast chargers (twice a day). They drove the vehicles for 80,467 km. The conclusion was: the batteries of the cars that used the Charger Level 2 had a 23% loss of its full capacity.

In the case of vehicles that used the other charger, the drop was 27%. Who carried out a similar test was the company Geotab shows this very well.
